Cheerleading is known for being a very expensive sport. Whether it is high school or all star cheer, it is usually thousands of dollars each year. All star cheerleading is known for being more expensive as it is more of a club sport. There are many fundraising options available for both types of cheer that can be helpful in paying fees and tuition. Gyms also usually allow payments overtime to ease the pressure.
All star cheerleading requires monthly tuition for training and some classes are required as well. These are necessary in order for teams to prepare for competition and improve their skills for the future.
Competition and camp fees can get expensive for both high school and all star cheerleaders. All star cheerleaders pay a higher cost in competition fees while high school teams usually pay a higher cost for a UCA or NCA camp in the summer.
Uniforms and apparel are costly for both types of cheer. Members who are returners usually don’t have to pay as much in this area, as they are able to use uniforms, shoes, bags, and practice wear from the previous year.
